I made an animation promoting Angoulême International Comics Festival. 51st edition takes place from 25 to 28 January 2024 in France. This is the second largest comics festival in Europe and it was founded by Francis Groux, Jean Mardikian (writers and editors) and Claude Moliterni (comics writer).

To made the animation I used festival mascot called ‘la fauve’ (wildcat) created by cartoonist Lewis Trondheim. I drew it again using the characteristic movement.

It was important to me to create a bunch of funny, interesting animation scenes with the cat. I made the numerous sketches to find the best shoots. I used handwrite type. The music is hilarious. To create the animation I used Blender 2D grease pencil.
