Working in a creative team ( Aleksandra Sacha, Julia Famuła, Julia Moruń, Anna Karasińska, Jakub Russak and me) I had opportunity to design the visual identity of the Agrafa’24. Agrafa is an international design conference and design review organized by the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. In 2024 the main conference’s theme was Reflection.

We based the design on a simple grid system and doodle elements. The playful style helped us build an engaging narrative throughout the conference promotion. Social media content used humor and jokes to encourage discussion and reflection on working in the design industry.

Our main goal for Agrafa 2024 was to engage and connect the local community. To achieve this, we decided to go beyond the traditional approach to visual identity design.

We started with interactive posters displayed regularly around the academy. Students could add themselves to the posters by answering questions or placing stickers. The posters encouraged reflection and asked questions such as: Who are we? How do we design? What matters to us?

Before the conference, we worked with students to create an installation that visualized the ASP community. Together with volunteers, we also created a mural that accompanied the exhibition of Agrafa review projects at Rondo Sztuki.

The project received Zamek Cieszyn director’s honourable mention at Silesian Icon 2024 competition.
